Closure of landfill increases ROOFCOLLECT recycling quantities |

The roofing membrane sector represented by ESWA has committed itself to recycling increasing quantities of PVC roofing membranes at the end of life of the products. After final closure of landfill the branch ?ROOFCOLLECT? has recorded a growing demand for the recycling and collecting system. A multitude of new renovation sites have been registered.
Compared to June 2004 the recycled quantities of end-of-life roofing membranes have increased by 54 %.
Material from small as well as from large roofing areas is increasingly recycled. For large quantities ROOFCOLLECT offers containers for a cheap and easy transport from the construction site.
